DRAFT-CDBG PY2025 Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER)

A Public Hearing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 10:30 am at 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton-Salacoa Room, to receive comments on Cherokee County's PY2025 Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER). This report will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) on April 22, 2026. The CAPER provides a review of the activities carried out under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Program to address the needs of low-and moderate-income residents, the homeless, the elderly, disadvantaged or abused/neglected persons, and mentally and/or disabled persons in Cherokee County.

A 15-day public comment period expires on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. A copy of the CAPER can be found at www.cherokeecountyga.gov/CDBG  under "forms and documents" and comments may be directed in person or in writing and should be directed to Cherokee County CDBG Office, ATTN: Susan Filiberto, CDBG Manager. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm. [email protected]
